WHAT DATA DO WE COLLECT?
Our Center collects the following data:
- Personal identification information: Name and email address (if voluntarily provided).
- Demographic and professional information: Organization, country, and role in your organization (if voluntarily provided).
- Campaign-specific data: How you first learned about our project, and your specific consent preferences for updates (the three checkboxes).
HOW DO WE COLLECT YOUR DATA?
You directly provide the Center for Hybrid Intelligence with most of the data we collect. We collect data and process data when you:
- Voluntarily fill out and submit the “Sign the Manifesto” form.
- Voluntarily opt into updates by checking our subscription options.
- Use or view our website via your browser’s cookies.
HOW WILL WE USE YOUR DATA?
Our Center collects your data so that we can:
- Aggregate and display the total live count of manifesto signatories on this website.
- Email you updates specifically regarding research collaboration, real-world use cases, or news based entirely on the checkboxes you selected.
- Utilize the data internally for related scientific research activities within Aarhus University.
Who sees your data:
Your individual identification details (name and email) are kept strictly confidential within Aarhus University. We only share completely anonymous, statistical summaries (for example, “40% of signatories are from Denmark”) with our external partners and funders. Your names or emails are never shared outside the university.
HOW DO WE STORE YOUR DATA?
Our Center stores and processes your data using Google Forms. The submitted data is subsequently handled by the Center for Hybrid Intelligence at Aarhus University.
We will keep your manifesto signature and data for as long as the campaign and its related academic research activities remain active. If you have agreed to receive updates, we will retain your email address until you choose to unsubscribe, at which point your email data will be immediately and securely deleted.
MARKETING
Our Center would like to send you information about research, use cases, and news updates that you opted into. If you have agreed to receive these updates, you may always opt out at a later date.
You have the right at any time to stop the Center for Hybrid Intelligence from contacting you. If you no longer wish to be contacted for these updates, please click the “unsubscribe” link included at the bottom of any email we send you, or email us directly at CHIKom@mgmt.au.dk.
